IBM CEO Rometty Continues to Make Claims Concerning Artificial Intelligence Without Providing any Substantive Evidence

IBM CEO Ginni Rometty provides unsubstantiated claims of AI and the entrance into a new cognitive era... To students of critical thinking the question: Where's the beef naturally rises, since no evidence has heretofore been presented to substantiate the claim.  It is evident that unprovable claims about 'intelligence' and 'cognitive ability' provide a de facto boost to IBMs "aura" but someone must make the call and say that the emperor wears no clothes. Is this a form of 'false advertizing' that can only be verified by experts (probably IBMs own)? If so how to hold IBM and its CEO accountable for the outlandish claims being made which presuppose an operational and not actual definition of "intelligence". To students of philosophy and critical thinking who do not make such naive claims without having first identified what is meant by "intelligence".
